Photo Monitoring

Photomonitoring at MacGregor Park

Photo Monitoring Posts have been placed throughout the park in areas that are ecologically significant. Each post has instruction on how to participate by taking a picture and posting it to provide insight pm how the landscape and vegetation is changing over the seasons. Anyone with a camera or smartphone can place their device on a post (landscape orientation, please), and they will all be able to take a photo of the same macGregor landscape.

Why Photomonitoring?

If everyone using the post attaches their photo to an e-mail to the address labelled on the post, park ecologists will have an extensive library of photos to monitor changes from week to week and year to year.
