Photomonitoring at MacGregor Park

Photo Monitoring Posts have been placed throughout the park in areas that are ecologically significant. Each post has instruction on how to participate by taking a picture and posting it to provide insight pm how the landscape and vegetation is changing over the seasons. Anyone with a camera or smartphone can place their device on a post (landscape orientation, please), and they will all be able to take a photo of the same macGregor landscape.

Why Photomonitoring?

If everyone using the post attaches their photo to an e-mail to the address labelled on the post, park ecologists will have an extensive library of photos to monitor changes from week to week and year to year.​
