Thank you to a great group of volunteers for working on our Sand Dune Restoration Project last week. The crew, led by Mike Gallagher, FOMPP Project Lead and Layna Lubimiv, Head Park Naturalist, worked to transplant Marram Grass to the dunes of Day Use Beach. The portable boardwalks were also cleaned off and rolled up to be stored for the winter. The Friends of MacGregor Point Park is committed to helping restore the ecosystem in the sand dunes of the park. You can do your part by walking on designated paths only so that the vegetation in the dunes is left undisturbed.

Thanks to our volunteers Mia, Jackie, Tim, Kelly, Kathryn, Doug and Mike. Also thanks to Layna and Catherine from MacGregor Point Park.
