Shipping Containers Finally Arrive!

Shipping containers were purchased this spring by the Friends of MacGregor Park. Chairs/table in the Visitor Centre will be moved to the shipping container behind the Visitor Centre to create free space. This will be great storage space for our barbecue equipment.

Our Visitor Centre is already well-established as an engaging interpretative area for visitors and the extra space will allow park staff to add new interpretive stations, adult-and child-friendly microscope tables and more touch station displays. In addition, the Bear Aware camping area will be returned to the Visitor Centre and be accessible for children to increase their knowledge on bear safe camping. More visitors will be able to attend presentations.

We are excited by the opportunities these shipping containers provide.
