Turtle Boxes

This year the Friends have donated additional nesting boxes for protecting turtle nests throughout the park. Discovery department staff will deploy these between late May to early July and will monitor for the emergence of hatchlings in late August. If you notice a turtle nesting in the park, call the Visitor Center (519-389-6231) to notify staff. Together we can help these ancient and majestic creatures.
