Family Day at MacGregor

Family Day on February 15th saw many visitors enjoying a day in the great outdoors at MacGregor Point Park. The Friends of MacGregor were busy serving up chili, soup and hot drinks in the Friends Warm-Up Cafe at the Visitor Centre and if you laced on your skates you could also enjoy a warming cup of hot chocolate at the Skating Circle. Families had fun learning about feeding winter birds and

creating suet logs to take home. Activities such as enjoying the birds on the Huron Fringe Trail, skating, playing hockey and participating in the Triathlon made for a great Family Day in the outdoors.Thank you to all our Volunteers and Board Members for providing the food and drink, serving the many visitors, and providing the craft for the day.
